So, you’ve been diagnosed with ADHD – or perhaps you strongly suspect you have it.

Maybe you’ve read the books, saved the posts, listened to the podcasts and spent a fair amount of time thinking, “Ohhh... THAT explains a lot.”

You understand more about yourself than you used to. But that doesn’t necessarily make it easier to start the thing, work out what actually matters when everything feels urgent, notice when you’re at capacity or switch your brain off at the end of the day.

Because understanding ADHD isn’t the same as understanding how YOUR ADHD works.

Join me live for an hour of science, practical teaching and guided reflection to start connecting what you know about ADHD to how it actually shows up for you – and what your brain might need instead.

You can be successful at work AND struggling with ADHD.

You might manage complex projects, solve problems and be the person everybody relies on, while privately wondering why being this capable takes quite so much energy.

Maybe you struggle to start until a deadline creates enough urgency. Everything feels equally important when work gets busy. You say yes before checking your capacity, or finish work only to discover your brain apparently didn’t get the memo. 😅

From the outside, you’re doing great. But the overpreparing, pressure, overthinking and pushing through aren’t always visible.

What they don’t see is the effort it takes you to keep delivering like that.

And just because you’re coping doesn’t mean the way you’re coping is sustainable.

If you feel like you understand more about why these things happen than you used to, but you’re still wondering what to actually do with that knowledge, you’re in the right place.

This isn’t just another "ADHD 101" webinar.

You don’t need me to spend an hour reading ADHD symptoms from a PowerPoint. And I’m definitely not going to give you 47 more productivity tips to add to the collection.

Instead, we’re going to look underneath some of the patterns you might recognise and start connecting the science of ADHD to what actually happens in your life.

Why was this missed in me?

We’ll look at why ADHD can be missed for years in women, particularly when you’ve become very good at compensating, achieving and appearing to cope.

Why can’t I just DO the thing?

You can understand exactly what needs doing and still struggle to get your brain to engage with it.

We’ll look at what can sit underneath initiation and activation difficulties, and why “just try harder” isn’t particularly useful advice.

Why does my ADHD seem to change?

Some days you can access focus, planning and decision-making much more easily than others.

We’ll explore why your brain doesn’t operate in a vacuum, and why understanding your changing capacity can be more useful than judging yourself for being “inconsistent”.

What happens when everything feels important?

We’ll look at why overwhelm can make prioritising even harder and what happens when your brain is trying to hold too much at once.

Then we’ll practise a simple way to reduce some of that noise when everything feels equally urgent.

The aim isn’t to leave knowing everything there is to know about ADHD. It’s to leave understanding a little more about what might be happening in your brain — and what that means for you.

What you'll walk away with

By the end of our hour together, you’ll have a clearer understanding of why some common ADHD patterns happen, including why starting, prioritising and managing your attention can sometimes feel harder than they “should”.

You’ll also have started recognising your own patterns: some of the conditions that make it easier or harder for your brain to engage, where overwhelm tends to show up for you, and where your current ways of coping might be taking more from you than they’re serving you.

And rather than leaving with another enormous list of things you “should” be doing, we’ll practise one simple way to reduce overwhelm and help you identify a small experiment you can take back into your working life.

Plus, your free ADHD – Now What?! Live Companion

You’ll receive your Live Companion when you register, with prompts and space to capture what you notice about yourself as we go. No homework beforehand. Pinky promise. 😅

This isn’t a webinar to half-watch while answering emails.

There’ll be plenty of teaching and science, but think of this as part webinar, part group coaching-style session. We’ll pause to reflect on your own patterns, use your Live Companion, try a couple of practical exercises and use the chat for those reassuring “Oh God, you do that too?” moments.

Just protect this hour for you.

When everything feels important, time for ourselves is often the first thing to disappear. So consider this a small commitment to yourself: put the hour in your diary and give yourself permission to actually take it.

That’s why this session is designed to be experienced live, rather than becoming another recording sitting in your inbox waiting for “when you have time”. A general replay won’t be sent to registrants afterwards.

No prep needed. Just bring your Live Companion, something to write with and perhaps a drink. 💛

Successful doesn’t have to mean depleted.

You don’t need to become less ambitious, lower your standards or transform overnight into somebody who lovingly colour-codes her diary every Sunday evening. 😉

The goal is to understand yourself well enough to start finding ways of working that don’t depend quite so heavily on urgency, overworking and recovery.

You can still be ambitious. Still care deeply about doing good work.

And build a career your nervous system can sustain.

Hi, I'm Sarah 👋🏼

I’m Sarah Theissen, an ADHD Coach and a late-diagnosed ADHDer myself.

Before coaching, I spent around a decade in corporate leadership and another decade in scientific research. I also have a PhD in Molecular Biology, so the science behind what’s happening matters to me.

But I also know what it’s like to look perfectly capable from the outside while using an enormous amount of energy to keep everything going. When I was diagnosed with ADHD in my forties, I finally had an explanation – but not much of a roadmap for what came next.

That’s a big part of why I now help ambitious women with ADHD understand their own patterns and build ways of working that fit their brain, capacity and life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a formal ADHD diagnosis?

No. You’re welcome whether you’re formally diagnosed, waiting for an assessment, self-identifying or simply recognising yourself in what you’re learning about ADHD.

What if I’ve only recently been diagnosed or realised that I might have ADHD?

Come along. You don’t need lots of prior knowledge, and I’ll explain the science as we go. The session will be particularly useful if you’ve reached the point of thinking: “Okay, ADHD explains a lot... but what do I actually DO with that information?”

What if I already know quite a lot about ADHD?

Perfect. We’re not trying to cram more ADHD facts into your brain. We’ll use some science and teaching to look underneath familiar patterns, but the real aim is to start connecting that understanding to how ADHD shows up for you.

Will there be a replay?

The session is designed to be experienced live, and a general replay won’t be sent to registrants afterwards. I’ve deliberately made the hour interactive so you have space to reflect, notice your own patterns and actually do something with what we’re discussing, rather than adding another video to the “I’ll definitely watch that later” collection. 😅

Do I need to come prepared?

No preparation, perfect concentration or colour-coded notes required. Simply bring your ADHD – Now What?! Live Companion workbook and something to drink.
